Repeat prescriptions

We do not accept any telephone requests as mistakes can be made. Please hand in your repeat slip in the box provided or e-mail us on

Please allow 48 hours for the repeat to be ready. Do not include weekends or public holiday. 

Prescriptions can be collected from reception or from the pharmacy by arrangement with them. However this may take a little longer.

Do you pay for prescriptions? Prescriptions are free for:

- men & women over 60.
- pregnant woman with valid maternity certificate
- children under 16 or 19 in full-time education.
- mothers and babies under 12 months- people who receive income support (check list on form P11 from Social Services or post office).
- people on Family Credit.
- certain chronic conditions.

If you are not entitled to free prescriptions, a “season ticket” may save you money.
